Vice President, Federal Relations, Aflac
Aflac seeks a smart, highly-motivated government relations executive to lead the company’s federal lobbying efforts by fostering the continued development of their robust relationships with policymakers across key committees, delegations, and leadership. The Vice President will lead by example an engaged lobbying team to execute a thoughtful federal relations strategy. This professional will partner with dynamic, growth-oriented government relations leadership and highly-motivated teammates to drive Aflac’s short and long-term impact in Congress and the public policy environment.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Counsel, the Vice President, Federal Relations supports the development and implementation of Aflac’s overall federal government relations advocacy strategy. The Vice President is responsible for advancing a federal legislative agenda in support and promotion of Aflac’s interests and objectives. This professional leads the congressional lobbying team to advance the organization’s interests by advocating for, or defending against, legislative issues potentially impacting Aflac and the insurance industry.
Director, Government Affairs, AHCA
This position improves lives by delivering solutions for quality care by serving as a representative of the Association’s positions and policies before the U.S. Congress, the executive branch, regulatory bodies, other organizations, and coalitions.
Serve as a key member of the AHCA/NCAL Government Relations Team:
- Lobby for the political positions of the Association. Results include passage of favorable legislation as well as defeating legislation detrimental to the sector.
- Develop relationships with Members of Congress, senior staff, key executive branch officials, state officials and/or government relations representatives from other groups to foster access to the policymaking process and the understanding of complex issues.
- Represent AHCA/NCAL within Washington, DC health care policy community.

Senior Director, Government Affairs, AHCA

Director, Center for Diplomatic Engagement, Meridian
Responsible for devising and overseeing the execution of a dynamic schedule of relevant briefings, trainings and other convening programs and networking receptions for international and U.S. diplomats. The Director assumes a substantial role in business development and forging of strategic partnerships, especially with foundations and U.S. government partners.
Director, Program Administration, Center for Global Leadership, Meridian
Under the direction and supervision of the Vice President, the Director, Program Administration will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and administrative guidance for Customized Exchanges (CE) team staff. The Director will have responsibility for coordinating and streamlining processes, procedures, and communications between program staff, IT, Finance, and Human Resources.
Senior Director, Center for Corporate Diplomacy, Meridian
The Senior Director, Center for Corporate Diplomacy works with the VP, External and Corporate Affairs to lead and oversee all corporate engagement efforts within the Meridian Center for Corporate Diplomacy. This includes driving new revenue through business development efforts, developing and managing the Center’s budget and business plan, Corporate Council member engagement, program development, thought leadership and content creation, and relationship building with government and diplomatic stakeholders.
Vice President, Center for Global Leadership (Customized Exchanges), Meridian
The Vice President, Center for Global Leadership (Customized Exchanges) will lead Meridian’s efforts to expand its program reach through partnerships with foundations and the private sector, in addition to the U.S. Government. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, this position will lead all business development efforts to strategically grow impact and revenue, and oversee the design, development, and implementation of exchange and training programs for public and private sector clients.
Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, Global Medical Response
The Senior Vice President of Government Affairs will be responsible for directing, managing and implementing GMR’s Government Affairs program and initiatives in coordination with the company’s operational and financial strategies at a national, group, regional, state, and local level. In addition, the Sr. VP will actively advocate, emphasize, and prioritize, policies to state and federal legislators and regulators that protect and advance GMR’s healthcare interests, create market opportunities, and assure adequate reimbursement and patient access to GMR services. This role manages a 10-person team as well as significant lobbying, public affairs, and other partner organizations, and is considered one of the key healthcare leaders of GMR.
