LEADERSHIP BOOTCAMP

This intensive Weekend Bootcamp format is intentionally curated to focus on the leadership development needs of senior government affairs professionals and future corporate executives. In alignment with the WHOO mission, this weekend will feature networking opportunities that inspire strategic visioning, inform programmatic planning, and provide memorable relationship-building opportunities for attendees.

PURPOSE

  • Provide next level leaders with insights and tools to help chart a path for their own personal leadership journey
  • Identify WHOO members committed to year-long mentoring of attendee’s post-boot camp
  • Prework of attendees that encourages an intensely meaningful self-exploration to help form and illuminate expectations for outcomes from the experience
  • For attendees to form a close and unique bond with each other as a cohort as they journey together

OBJECTIVES

  • Identify, explore, and experience means to Grow and Develop as Leaders
  • Build upon our leadership competencies to Set Direction, Align, and Engage & Inspire
  • See, Own, and Shift our areas of development using 360 Feedback (as a part of the preparation process)
  • Enhance self and other awareness through identifying personal and team behavioral tendencies using the Style of Influence Personality Instrument
  • Identify means to enhance the resilience of self and others using the work of Tony Schwarz and his renowned Manage Your Energy and Not Time
  • Further enhance the level of trust, respect, commitment, mutual learning, and authentic connection amongst participating leaders in order to intentionally invest in and foster cross-organization collaborative relationships
