2024 A Year of Unstoppable Impact

Dec 4, 2024

The WHOOLC 2024 Year was filled with incredible speakers, new members and sponsors, and engaging signature events.

Our member luncheons featured amazing speakers and several Just Us sessions, offering members a chance to connect and engage. Our speakers included Senator Laphonza Butler, Representative Steven Horsford, Paxton Baker, and Janis Bowdler.

Our signature events included the “A Family Affair” weekend at Martha’s Vineyard, with the annual Lobster Bake at Garde East and the Hangtime Speakeasy event at Atria, bringing together friends from the political, business, and community spheres.

The 2024 Leadership Boot Camp was a tremendous success and welcomed eight new Boot Campers to the WHOOLC family. The Four Seasons Baltimore was a great backdrop to this year’s camp, which included the 2024 Legacy Dinner honoring long-time WHOOLC supporter Barry Granger and the first Boot Camp Reunion Dinner. The Boot Campers were enthusiastic participants, and several WHOOLC members joined us over the weekend. The 2024 Boot Campers are:

The 2024 Holiday Toast will continue WHOOLC’s tradition of ending the year with a top-notch affair held once again at the Hay-Adams Hotel.

The Art Basel Leadership Retreat is our newest signature event that will focus on the intersection of leadership, art, advocacy, and wealth creation. Workshops will be held that focus on how art transforms leaders while also moving the curtain back on the business world of art and art investments. Art Basel will take place Friday, Dec. 6 through Sunday, Dec. 7, 2024, and will include a welcome wine reception and a leadership brunch.

Thank you to our amazing sponsors for making this a year or unstoppable impact!
