DESCRIPTION:The Washington Heads of Office Leadership Council (WHOOLC)\, the premier professional organization for senior executives of color who oversee government affairs for Fortune 100-level companies and trade associations\, announces its fifth annual Leadership Boot Camp will be held October 13-14\, 2023. \nThe mission of WHOOLC’s annual Leadership Boot Camp is to develop a pipeline of government affairs leaders of color. Mid-level government affairs executives are selected for the Boot Camp which features exclusive workshops and presentations by industry veterans and subject matter experts. WHOOLC Members and Boot Campers experience an engaging\, intensive weekend designed for learning\, thought leadership\, and networking to propel you toward your leadership goals. \nThe Leadership Boot Camp focuses on various stages of the professional development journey. Topics range from the art of negotiations to building a personal brand to equity compensation and the functions of leadership. Participants are immersed in an agenda that is exciting\, enlightening\, and empowering while sharing their personal leadership strategies and building connections with colleagues.
